Concept:
Throughout the 80's & 90's JKA Victoria & South Australia held many successful joint tournaments, which contributed toward a strong and successful era throughout our region. It is our aim to re-create these opportunities, and contribute toward re-building the success that we shared throughout that time.

Name Change:
The name “SA/Vic Titles” is very locality specific.
It is our aim to share this opportunity with all JKA Members from throughout the Australasian Region.
We are mindful of past involvement and contribution of our friends in New Zealand, New South Wales, Western Australia & Queensland.
For this reason we have re-named our event, so that it is more ‘open’ and ‘inclusive’, in an effort to avoid any sense of exclusion.
It is our aim to share this experience with all who are willing to make the effort to attend.

JKA Southern Cross Cup:
Our new Title – the JKA Southern Cross Cup was suggested by Sensei Bev Cook (Bendigo), at the recent Mildura Gasshuku - is open to JKA members, who train under the Southern Cross……

Where:
This event will be hosted jointly between JKA Victoria and SA’s Honbu Dojo.
We are planning to stage this event throughout our major locations in Victoria and South Australia.
Predominantly, we will aim to use Adelaide and Mildura as our ‘preferred’ locations, as they are central to our region. This does not mean that we will not be flexible in this regard, there will be times when will stage this event at other locations.

When:
June, Long-Weekend – EVERY YEAR

Inaugural Event:
2008: June, 6th to 9th
Adelaide: Marion Leisure Centre
