Marion Leisure and Fitness Centre is the “Cheers Bar” of the leisure industry. It’s the place where it seems “everyone knows your name”, making it a friendly and welcoming place to play sport or workout.
Our health club has over 60 classes a week. That’s way more than most centres. The variety ensures there is something for all, from Pilates and yoga-based BODYBALANCE, to high energy BODYATTACK and muscle-toning BODYPUMP.
There’s indoor cycling with RPM, ever-popular BODYSTEP and martial-arts-based BODYCOMBAT.
The gym has equipment to work your entire body. Our instructors are on hand to design a tailored exercise program to help you reach you goals. We also offer workouts to help with injury rehabilitation and specific medical conditions.
Once you are a member, fitness assessments and program designs are free. We also encourage you to catch up with an instructor for personal training every six weeks. That’s a free service to members.
Slip into the spa and sauna for a relaxing end to your workout or sports session. It is bliss and relieves those achy muscles.
In our sports halls, games can be taken seriously – or played for the sheer fun of it. We are home to volleyball matches, netball comps and social badminton sessions. There are a host of other sports played, too.
We regularly house major sporting events. In the past, we have held the National Fencing Championships and Australian Masters Games competitions.
Our halls and rooms are available for hire. We host markets and meetings, gymnastics comps and lots more.
