On behalf of the Japan Karate Association of Australia, I wish to welcome members to the JKA Southern Cross Cup Karate Championships being held here in Adelaide. From a National perspective, it is great to see the coming together of the Southern States. Inter state competitions, such as this, will no-doubt enhance and foster the future development of JKA throughout Australia, both on and off the competition floor. I would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate the organizers of this competition, and wish all attendees the best of luck for a clean and spirited competition.
